Summer 2024 Leadership Team
Our Counseling and Leadership Team has the gift of humanity in their hearts and are dedicated to being truly present for the younger generation in this increasingly fast-paced world.
Founder/Director, Gretchen Rowe
has over 30 years of experience working with children a variety of camp and scholastic capacities. During the school year, she is currently a reading and multi-lingual teacher at McDonald International School, Seattle Public Schools. This is her 11th year directing Peace Camp International.
Program and Youth Leader: Mangesh Pol
7th year with Peace Camp International! During the off-season, he is the Youth Coordinator for Maher Ashram in Pune, India, as well as the International Coordinator of the Maher Interfaith Association
Program and Youth Leader : Bernard Omuse
Program and Youth Leader: Bernard Omuse
5th year with Peace Camp International! He is the Director of Peace Camp International Uganda and the Director of Ma’s Jr. School in Tororo, Uganda.
Youth Leader: Emese
Emese is a junior at Nationa Hale High School. They have been attending Peace Camp International for 8 years since they were 8 years old. This will be their first year attending as a Youth Leader.
